Join YANA Wellness Center DC and Fantom Comics for the next gathering of Higher Learning, a 420-friendly stoner book club dedicated to mental health awareness, cannabis culture, and powerful storytelling. This elevated community experience blends conscious consumption with meaningful discussion in a safe, creative, and supportive environment.
Our featured March read is My Favorite Thing Is Monsters by Emil Ferris, a critically acclaimed graphic novel celebrated for its raw emotional depth, striking hand-drawn style, and layered exploration of trauma, identity, queerness, and coming of age. Told through the diary of a young girl who sees herself as a monster, the story weaves together themes of grief, mental health, social justice, and self-acceptance in a way that is both haunting and deeply human.
